Even though the weather is getting even hotter this year, Doyo Ushi grilled eel all day long.

● Sales of eel products

We focused on “freshly grilled eel in-store.” We sold eel rice bowls using eel freshly grilled in-store in the round sales area, and eel from Kagoshima prefecture freshly grilled in-store in the platform sales area.

Competitors promoted frozen kabayaki eel at low prices. To differentiate ourselves, we promoted freshly grilled eel. We struggled with our own competition for eel rice bowls against Delica’s Chinese eel rice bowls. With the help of our trainers, we were able to always have freshly grilled eel on the shelves, and we had virtually no chance losses, discounts, or waste, and I think our customers were happy.

This year’s theme was to always provide freshly made, piping hot food to customers, and the biggest result was that we discussed and implemented the operations for that purpose with the department head. The amount of time required for work can be reduced, which will also be useful for future events and sales operations.
